Well, had some issues on with the ground blind this morning (since I'm not anywhere close to being setup to film in a tree) so I did not get a chance to film. Had my buddy (second time bowhunting) do what he could in the ground blind and I sat about 20 yards away in a brush pile.
About 715 started softly hitting some sheds together, not 30 seconds after that a nice wall hanging 8 pointer came out from the small timber about 50 yards behind us. He never came within shooting distance for him. 45 minutes passed by and started softly hitting the sheds together again and another buck, a smaller 8 point came not aggressively, but you could tell he was interested. After about 5 minutes of him standing at the edge of the timber in front of us. I started softly hitting the sheds together again and he begin moving towards us, next thing I know I hear an arrow whizzing out in front of me. About a 55 yard shot went headfirst into the dirt lol.
Couldn't help but bust out laughing, as my buddy admitted he just got his first case of "buck fever" and couldn't wait any longer. So needless to say, we will try again on Sunday....
