With highs in the mid 40s today, was anyone surprised with the amount of movement tonight???

No, not really. Look at the temps comin tonight and tomorrow. I expected a lot of deer to be on their feet with weather change. Had deer in my back yard at sunset and saw a bunch on my drive to work.. would have loved to be in the stand tonight, but can only run on no sleep for so long lol

Went to IL today for a family Xmas and stopped at the rest area just easy of newton- counted 46 deer feeding in a picked cornfield next to the rest area- didn't have binocs but could clearly see 3 maybe 4 wall hangers. This was at 10:00AM
