With the bitter cold yesterday and now the snow today, I think those with first shotgun season tags should be able to hunt next weekend.

I would think with the slow rut and lack of mature deer sightings as a group now season should go through march.

I guess I saw plenty of guys out today and yesterday with some decent luck. Some guys dream for snow during shotgun season, there's still a few days left. I imagine with the abundance of deer population the dnr will be all for extending hunting opportunities to those that don't like the cold. Ha

I'll be out for second season, mostly solo hunting but might throw in with the neighbor's group for a push or two.
