I'm totally selfish on this point as I love to see as many deer as possible every time out. I for one remember very vividly the early 70's when you "hoped" to just see any deer the entire season.
Anyone else remember waiting for the licenses to arrive to see if you got a Doe tag!
If I had a crystal ball, people complaining of not seeing enough deer will be in our near future.......and I know there will be exceptions ..........Just my opinion! </div></div>Well I'm glad someone else said it because I remember those days too, it took me 6 years to just kill a buck let alone a nice one back then or even see a nice one. It wasn't for lack of time in the field or woods skills either. I see this whole thing heading in that direction again in time. I'd say if the DNR wants to do a deer count get out and do it this winter BY AIRPLANE, the deer are acting in a NORMAL winter pattern (right now) for once and herding up.
