Trapping 2022-2023

Haven't trapped since the mid-90's but have been getting the itch since I have a pair of yotes that have moved in. I made a couple sets but only a possum so far. My nephew started trapping two years ago, he's on a roll this year; his catches below so far.

Yes, they have a variety of colors it seems. The fishers are really cool, nephew has been trying hard the past two years to catch one. He's going for bobcats also.

Haven’t had many traps out this fall, highlight for me was catching an otter and having my dad and my daughter with me.

Yes, they made a good comeback. The PGC is trying to get Pine Marten population back also.

Please no.... they are common in my area of Minnesota. They are tough on turkeys !

Tell him to hang a bird wing over the trap. They’re very visually oriented

Limited trapping. I’m not 100% sure on the zones.

Stealth approach in the tree. That’s what I have heard .

They are vicious, my nephew posted a vid on face book when he got to the set. I can't post the vid that's on Facebook but hearing it growl and thrash around will send chills up your spine.
