Little off topic but what and how many did ya"ll catch opening weekend?

Not a trapper, but a buddy of mine who is had 16 coon and 4 skunks with 25 traps yet to check as of Sunday afternoon.

Due to an overly busy weekend my boys only got out 6 live traps behind the house but they ended up with 3 nice coon. Going to try to get the rest out this weekend. :way:

I usually just look for the fliers they put up...The price kind of depends on the size and condition of the pelt.

My brother trapped 28 coon, 2 beavers and 2 rats, looked liked todays catch was 15 coon 4 rats and 2 beaver.
Instead of taking off for the rut he takes off for the trapping rut!

Veir's fur, Groenewald, and a few local buyers in between. From what I hear from guys that have already sold a few, coon will average you around 8-10 bucks if you have some good coon. Prices are not going to be what they were last year at first for sure.
