I heard one of the top fur buyers in the world got caught not paying his taxes and owes 25 million so the fur market is supposed to take a big hit. Not sure how much truth there is to that just what I heard.

The Chinese gov. busted a bunch of their own citizens for smuggling furs, not paying the import taxes. Most of it was ranch fur not wild. Nobody really knows what the prices will be until the auctions are held but NAFA says they should be in line with last year. Guys I know that have sold are still getting good prices for green hides.
