Tree Stand Advice

I just bought 160 acres and am going to put up 10 stands or so. What would you guys recommend. I may be doing some outfitting too.

I'm looking at potentially buying 20 foot tall ladder stands.

If I buy climbing sticks, would you guys have a hanging stand on each tree or would you buy an expensive stand like Lone Wolf and carry it in every hunt.

I carry enough crap the way it is, is an extra tree stand a pain?

If this is your own property I would put them up and leave them. The more the deer get "comfortable" with them there the better off you will be. No sense in putting up a stand each time you go out to hunt if not needed. You may want to keep one out just in case you pattern a particular deer and need to put a stand in an area you haven't set up for. You will learn alot from the habits and travel routes of the deer on your new property the first few years. Have fun you lucky dawg!!

If I were to hang a bunch of stands up on my place, I would buy a bunch of rivers edge stands. They are comfortable and very affordable, I would also use tree steps unless you prefer the sticks. Now if I was hanging a new stand everyday then a lonewolf would be the way to go, but they really don't seem practical to me on your own place where you can hang some nice cheaper stands and not have to hang a stand everyday. I would avoid ladder stands, but that is just my opinion
