THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE DO FOR THE EXTENTIONS. AS FOR THE BRACE NO WE DO NOT. I SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT THE SHORT PIECES WE WELD ONTO THE PLATFORM ARE ALSO 3/4". THEY SLIDE RIGHT INTO THE LADDER. AS FOR HOLDING UP A GORRILA, AS LONG AS IT HOLDS ME UP I DONT CARE HOW BIG IT IS!!
