Caught a giant flathead tonight. Made my whole trip worthwhile. 47lb caught, weighed, photos and released.

I forwarded the pic to a friend of mine at work who has a friend who is a fish geek for the Nebraska DNR he said this Female probably weighed around 60-65lbs before she laid her eggs and estimated age at 50-75 years pretty amazing I would have never guessed they lived that long!
