Anyone plant Triticale for fall/winter? The seed that is supposed to be cross between wheat and rye. I know it has been spoken of, but I have forgotten about what was said. Sorry: I see Welter's has it,,pretty reasonable,too.

Not sure if it is meant to be planted in Spring for Summer, or can be planted for Fall or winter. Is Rye and Wheat, so guess doesn't matter. Is around First of Sept, still a good time?
