Trpr Scores on a good bow bird

I was waiting for Trpr's hunt story, but perhaps there isn't going to be one.

Thanks everyone. Just lucky I guess.
Sorry for the long wait on the story. The hunt started the first day of the second season. I left by myself early in the morning on Friday to head to my farm to try and convince Mr. Gooble head to show his face. I couldn't find anyone to share my blind with me!!! As you well know most of us Trpr's are #$%#@#. HA!
But the truth of the matter was that I really couldn't!! HA! Well the morning started out great! Birds gobbling everywhere and by 0630 several jakes had already checked out my decoy but old Mr. Montana strutter kept them abay!! Just as they left I spied a huge tom just to my right about 75 yards strutting for a hen. The jakes were just standing back and watching. They disappeared for a few seconds to my right and low and behold out stepped three gobblers that looked like they were on a mission to destroy my decoy! Just as they got within range the leader of the three who haden't shaved for years because his beard was dragging the ground averted to the right and started thru my unpicked corn field. As they came out on the side to my left they looked like they were ready to start the 100 yard dash and took of with their tails a flappin. Just as they did so a swoosh!!!!! ascended over my blind and a huge hawk appeared as if he was ready to attack the decoys. Nothing happened though and I just sat there dumb founded on how lucky I was!!! yeah!!. Just then the original gobbler that I had seen peeped around the corner and acted as if he had been rejected and decided to make headway towards my set up. Believe it or not as they say just then I heard this whinning noise and low and behold a piper cub airplane started to circle my set up flying really low as if they were sight seeing my turkey farm. Not once but twice!!! Yes its true! The gobbler got nervous and darted to the woods. Bird (hawk) and airplane pilot (idiot). I knew then I was going to have a good day!!!Hmmm!!!
No sooner than I had thought that, Mr. Limbchicken (not the one we all know and admire on this site) stepped from the cornfield about 40 yards to my left and the love dance was on!. 40,35, 30,25,22(thump)mr.grim reaper did his thing. After that he didn't have much time for dancin. He pretty much folded on the spot and he really never even did the jerk dance! Shot him right thru the back as he turned on the decoy. The grim reaper left a hole I could stick three fingers in. As always it was a great hunt. Just got in from hunting this afternoon. Saw a few birds but the weather put a damper on things with the rain and all. Once again thanks for the congrats.. Same goes to all the fine individuals who frequent this site who have put and end to the "Big Dance"
