Boy I know what you mean about gag reflex! We were casturating our calves about twenty years ago and cut a tummer open on a calf in the same spot and about the same size. Man that was some nasty nasty nasty smelling stuff!!!!! It almost gets me gagging just thinking about it!

Wow, I have a fawn on my farm with the same thing in the same place. Is it possible that this picture was taken in Davis County? I have seen the fawn twice and there is no mistaking the volleyball sized growth. I was thinking about whacking it just to prevent any spreading of whatever it is that ails it.

Kat you are Right!! Its a fatty sist from injury according to the Bio. photo from Allegan Ct. Michigan.

deernut i know what you mean. I helped some farmers out last year and we came across one!

We have a buck on trail camera on our farm in Ringgold county that has one there too. It is much smaller though, about the size of a golfball or baseball. The one on that doe is huge though!!! Wonder what it is from???

Biologist told me simply from a injury, where it closes quick but the PUSS has no where to go, but also can reverse over time!!
