Turkey? photos?

Well, this is kind of how my day went:
The day started off with some visitors to the DB blind.

Sorry for the quality of this image, I was holding the camera with one hand as the deer walked by the hen decoy at twenty yards. I was sitting on a log leaning against an Oak tree.

The day ended with this doe at 20 yards (decoy not in photo).

I uploaded more deer images to the PMA gallery than I placed in this post. Also, I saw many deer that I didn't think would make a decent picture.

Oh yeah, I did see some turkeys.

I hear ya, I think I seen as many deer as turkey this weekend, it was unreal! Should have a bunch of little ones running around!!

Man..I had the same thing happen this weekend. Had a doe see my decoy, then circle down wind. She came about 10 yards from where I was sitting. Never knew I was there.

It's a wonder...they didn't get trampled by all those deer!

Remember? How could I forget? You brought him in like he was attached to a winch on the front of the truck. Too bad I couldn't close the deal!

Not only was I not able to end the season the first day I went out, I also choked Sunday when we had the birds around us.

Two days, two shots and all I have to show is a little plaque I made of the feather trimmings. I put Saturdays feathers on one side, Sundays on the other. I'm going to put an eyelet on it and hang it at my desk. Too bad I don't have a picture to hang with it. That should be a little motivation to shoot a little straighter. Archery turkey hunting, at least I had a GREAT time attempting it. Thanks, Bud!

In all fairness, Muddy, you would have to agree that Saturday was not entirely my fault?!
