I live in North East Nebraska and there ait no turkeys here....Just kidding there all over around here you should be able to find some good ground to hunt no problem with a pile of birds on it.
If you need a better idea send me a message and i will give you a more general idea if you want to hunt closer to where i hunt
The weather didnt do me any favors in Nebraska. I sat in high winds, hale, rain, and some light snow. I seen plenty of birds but the closest tom came to thirty yards on the other side of a fence. I had a small window to take a shot but I chose to run video. He was a very beautiful bird that I would have loved to take but I wasnt comfortable taking the shot.
The next day I headed to South Dakota to hunt with Double K. Seeing plenty of birds I knew I was sure to have a shot opportunity. I got more than one and I made good the second.
The bird ended up being an eastern. I drove 9 hours one way to shoot a merriam and ended up shooting a eastern.
I had a great time. Plans have already started for next year.:drink2:
