I just read that the game birds(pheasants, turkeys) might possibly be carrying the West Nile Virus this fall. Just my opinion-but I would wear some gloves after the kill when cleaning your birds. It's an arguable point-- but is a turkey, deer with CWD, or the risk of an infected mosquito bite worth it. I already know the answer from most of you will be yes--but please don't forget our mortality. Do I want to be stuck in a hospital--when I could be home with my family- just because my mentality tells me I HAVE TO HUNT?! It's a challenge--lay it on me!!!!
