Unofficial 2007 Deer contest

Guys and gals,
I decided to start an Archery deer contest for individuals that either can't afford to be PMA members or choose not to be, that way you too can be part of an archery contest here. PMA members are allowed to enter too. I will donate the prizes. There will be 4 classes to win. They are the following:

1.Biggest live doe weight. prize $10.00 gift certificate to Buck Hollow Sports

2.Biggest live Buck weight. prize $10.00 gift certificate to Central IA Archery

3. Biggest nontypical buck. prize $10.00 gift certificate to Sportsmans Whse

4. Biggest typical buck. prize $10.00 gift certificate to Jax Sporting goods.

Here is a chart for measuring your live weight. As much documentaion as possible with pics.

Deer has to be taken during regular season and contest ends the last day before shotgun season opens. Good luck and sign up deadline is Sept 15th. Just put your name on the thread after the next persons adding yours behind theirs please.

How are you going to make sure everyones scale is calibrated the same?

Also how am I suppose to know the deers live weight when hopefully after I find it, well.............its dead?

Or are we just going to go on a estimated weight from the dead weight?
