pulled the card on my new camera today...Moultrie M880...very satisfied with both day time and night time pics! This deer came by and gave me quite a few shots of him...how old do you guys think he is? and score? also how big can a deer grow in a year?

I'd guess 3.5, and he'd be lucky to hit 120.. very lucky.

Next year he could be a solid 135-140+ I'd gather

I have pictures of a buck that put on nearly 50 inches from 3.5 to 4.5. It depends a lot on the growing conditions and the minerals available in the soil

Maybe its just the angle of the shot but I think he looks a lot older than 2.5. I would say more like 4.5 or 5.5. Lots of definition in his body, somewhat saggy back, neck is filled out where it meets his chest. If I'm right he's very inferior as far as antler growth goes. More pics would help. Hopefully I'm wrong and its just the angle.

I was thinking the same thing. By looking at his face

Yeah he's just a 2.5 year old. Odd angle made him look older in the first set. I had a buck go from 125 to 165 from 3 to 4. This is a deer that shouldn't be shot next season regardless of size if your managing for age....
