Updated Apple Tree Pics

I checked all my apple trees today and re-sprayed the annual grasses and weeds that were coming up to keep the area clean. They have put on 30 inches of growth so far this year and were never fertilized. All trees were planted last November. All trees are still clean of aphids, beetles etc and look great. Another site has not done so whoppy with the same care so it just goes to show, you put apple trees or any trees on their preferred sites and they will grow like gang busters.

I sure hope they stay on the course they are now. No pests to speak of and excellent growth. Interesting note for some, the DCO's that are doing well are within 20-30 yards of the apple trees in the same soil type.
