You're right you could but if I'm having trouble getting a doe into bow range I always have the option of using the muzzy. I'm also just talking about late season anyways.
There's been many a times where I've found myself in a tree wearing orange because I was unable to fill my anysex archery tag earlier in the year. I also will usually have a late muzzy tag. If that's the case I'll be in tree or on the ground with both weapons. Maybe its just me but if a I have the chance of filling my archery buck tag I'll do so even if it may be easier to fill my late muzzy tag.
