using a double bull blind in the snow

Just received my armistep cover in the mail. :) Will have to see how it fits on my Dark horse come Monday. $20 and no shipping charges, just couldn't pass up a good deal:way:

I found these blind covers on eBay. I liked it so much I have abandoned my king size sheet and purchased one of these. They were made to fit the Matrix 360. There are 7 left.

Type this in the search line and check it out.

Snow Cover Primos Double Bull Ground Blind

I got this cover for the DB Matrix the other day in the mail.

Don't buy one from this guy on eBay, it is total junk, it isn't white, it is an off white, and the material is very thin.

I sent it back for a refund!

Got the ameristep one last week and it fits my Primos Vision Blind perfectly.
I also had a doghouse one for my ameristep blind that I got a couple years ago. They work great. I've had deer looking right into the blind from about 1-2yds and not spook.

So last week I tried out the ameristep snow cover on my Double Bull Darkhorse. Even though the dimensions are very similar, the cover just doesn't fit the Darkhorse. I had to collapse the walls to get the cover on then positioned the cover on the corners. I then popped the hubs back out and all the corners of the cover ripped. At least it was only 20 bucks so I'm not out too much.

A couple safety pins and a little ingenuity made it work for now. Looks like I'll be looking for a new cover:rolleyes:

Just wish the cover had somewhat of a breakup pattern to it.

So my first thought was that snow camo would look sweet. However, wouldnt it be 10x more versitale as pure white. You can always tie a branch/corn stalk to it. Worst case buy one, hang it up and get some black paint, dip a brush in the paint and snap your wrist with the brush at it. Try to leave some lines on it. Let dry, wash it a few times, Im sure the paint will stain it.
OR
Buy actual clothing dye, and fill a squirt bottle. :)

Did the same thing. Got it on half a## but one of the hubs keeps popping in.

That's how they come, I put mine in the washing machine in bleach water for a few hours. These are hard to come by, so I am sure he won't have any problem selling the one you returned. My buddy bought two of them. The material is taunt and stretchy and allows for an excellent, no windflap fit:way:
