I'm writing to vent some frustration. A year ago I bought a moultrie camera and since then I've returned it twice and was on my third one. 10 days ago I put it out again to try it out and yesterday when I went out to get it, some A-HOLE stole it. This was a hobby I really wanted to get into and have fun with it. The camera itself was discouraging enough since it didn't ever work, but then to have someone take it. The had to have gone home for a hacksaw or bolt cutters. $150 with a rechargeable battery, memory card and camera gone. I made the mistake of putting it on public land, but I guess I had higher hopes for mankind. That's all I have to say about that.
 
I know what you are feeling. It just makes you shake your head in disgust. I think it makes it worse as a sportsman too because if i was on public land and came across a trail camera I wouldn't even think about taking it. But evidently not all hunters/sportsman think the same as the true hunters/sportsmen on this site.

I feel your pain. I have had a couple cameras stolen too. That is the reason I have been using the Moultrees... because I can buy them at Wal-Mart for less than $100 and with a rechargeable battery and SD card I am still under $150. I have three of them out right now. Imagine if they were cuddybacks.

Having something stolen is one of the most maddening, frustrating things that can happen to a person.
 
It is frustrating! I'm not sure I want to take a chance again, which is really sad. Hopefully they won't go back for my stands. What a low life!!!
 
That does suck. I hunt a lot of public land, and have had a lot of stands stolen.

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes! I know exactly where you're coming from, as I have also had a camera stolen. It's too bad that people have to stoop to such a low level and steal something! What goes around comes around.
