This brochure gives general information on the Polk County urban hunts. If you are interested, let me know. I have participated for over 20 years and have chaired the Polk County Deer Task force for the last 6 years. Each city/entity runs their own program. The task force makes recommendations to keep the rules fairly consistent.

No stand tonight. Set up along a grass fencerow between 2 corn fields where a bunch of CRP strips meet up. I really dislike ground hunting

Same here...
Never tried the ground blind before. Certainly very comfy in my lawn chair, but geez the wind can do some not nice things down here!
