Some of you may remember my post on my son getting a nice buck earlier this year. I have never done anything like this before but I entered it in the Quad City Times Photo Contest. If you are so inclined he would love it if you could vote for his picture. Either of the links below should get you to the site.

His sister got a real big deer too, but his was already entered so I did not want to put both in and "split" their votes. If by some chance he wins he has to share half with his sister.

Thanks for the vote. Aaron's photo was not even up to what I would have liked. For a kids deer like that I would have loved to get some "in the field" shots but it was not possible. He shot it on a Sunday night and I had to take off Monday morning to find it. It was quite warm so I skinned and caped it right away since it had sat all night already. I was abel to save the meet but it only left us with a head and cape for picture time:(. We ended up with the few quick pictures we took of it before we ran to the taxidermist on Monday after school. The pictures will still add to our lasting memories though:). Heck he even framed one of them and made a Christmas ornament out of it.
