I knew it was over in the 8th inning of game #6. If Dusty wasn't smart enough to pull Prior prior to when he did, he would do the same thing with Wood in Game #7.

Tired arms can't win pennants. If you compare Josh Beckets total pitcth count from Sept. 1st with Prior and Wood I bet he threw alot less pitches. Game #5 was his FIRST complete game. I could make a case that the series was lost in August and September because Dusty let Wood and Prior pitch too many complete games.

I felt worse Tuesday than I do today, because I saw it coming after the 8th inning.

Only 160 or so days till spring training.

Super Bowl Shmooper Bowl. Pitchers and catchers report in about 3 weeks. This shapeing up to be the best season since last season. Do ya suppose Georgie about spit up last night when his not so retired pitcher (Roger Clemmens) was given an award from the New York Baseball Writers?
