Hey I scored on my first bird with a bow on wednesday.
The previous morning me and my dad went out and called this bird in with two other jakes. Dad had his longbow and I had the recurve. the birds came in and hung up at 30 yards!!

The tom strutted and eventually headed off. So on wednesday after track I headed back to the woods with the compound instead. I was 800 in the morning. I got set up with a jake and two hen decoys out and setteled in the DB. I called for about a half hour with nothing. At eight thirty I gave it one more set of clucks and the tom gobbled and the two jakes that were with him "attempted" to gobble. All on a sudden there were three shadows on the side of the DB and the tom was spittin and drumming 5 yards outside the blind. He strutted to the decoys and whack, game over

thanks guys, I wanted to post a pic, but its too big and I can't get it resized. It was pretty awesome, Ive shot 4 other birds, but this is the first with the bow and on my own. Its awesome!
