About the missing Independence Buck, I just emailed Boone & Crockett Head Quarters and they should boot up some pics and report it stolen, this is like a tragidy, just amagin it was you and your world class trophy... What else can we do to help?
 
They may already be aware, but I just sent E-Mail's to Realtree Outdoors, Don and Kandi Kisky, and Jay Gregory at the Wild Outdoors. Thought that they might offer some air time on their shows or on their sites, who knows?
 
i thought about maybe we could start a donation/reward through paypal here on iowawhitetail. i don't know how to really go about it but i got $50 that i'd gladly put up in order to help the young man recover his buck.

anybody else think this is a good idea?? if enough people chipped in the reward could become considerable and possibly work.
 
Good idea Muddy, I'd put 50 in, One Cam what do you think about this stratagy. This really stinks...It takes the starch right outta me..

Sounds like a good idea but if we do it for one then we MUST do it for all. Don't forget, JB's mount was stolen also! I'm all for helping out but I certainly don't want it to turn into a reward fund only for the largest or the youngest. We need to ask ourselves were to draw the line. On mounts? What about bow thefts? Stands?

All these items mean something to the people that have lost them.
 
The best reward would be seeing the deer go back to the rightful owners and the persons responsible for taking them charged with a stiff penalty and locked away with a bunch of lonely, burly men.
 
Muddy, a reward is a good way but like stated it could get of hand, but there is more of us "good guys" then bad, so lets all let everyone you know hunter or not about these recent losses of record racks, enough people knowing and looking for them should make it real hard to sell 'em, I'm printing off a hand full of posters from here on both bucks and placing them in every conveince store, barber shop, hardware store, etc. that will let me put them up, there is enough of us on here to plaster the entire state and a few states on either side of us
 
I posted a few around town up here at the dun and bow places, also contacted International Safari Club... I'd be shattered if this ever happened to me... God Bless these unlucky fellas
