Weather?

I have this Tuesday through Friday off to hunt, but the weather looks alittle to warm. Should I wait until the following week to take off or just try it this week? What do you think about movement? Would it be better this week or next?

Go to accuweather.com and put in the city that you are closest to, and then go to 15 day forecast. I find this to be fairly accurate

I'm a fan of hunting in cooler weather during the rut but I have a trip planned to Southern IA from Nov.1-7 and it's suppose to be warm. We had the same temps. last year at this time and there was still a lot of movement even during mid. day. Tough call. Good luck.

The biological clock continues to tick and while I would rather have cooler weather, the rut won't stop just because it is warm out but it might not go into overdrive. That said, given the choice of waiting another week, I do think you should consider that.

Ditto 150Class!

Not too much different than last year at this time when I was seeing bucks running with their mouths wide open in 72 degrees on November 6th.

A secluded water hole may be the ticket on a hot day during the rut!

So far what I have see it looks like it going to be the same as last year, if not earlier. Saturday I saw 4 big bucks running crazy after one doe. Maybe it was the only hot doe in the area, which attracted those big boys. Three where 130's and one which got the doe was around 150. Saw 2 other big ones chasing does of the side of the road this past weekend.

you hunting iowa or minn. bucks going pretty good down here in Mo. also. i think that first cold snap set them off on a quickie. :
