Seen one nice eight pointer 20 mins into the hunt. I wanted my daughter to fill her youth tag so I gave her first crack at him, but he stopped to late offering a bad shot, I asked what she thought, and she said what I was hoping to hear, that it was a bad shot, so after calling to him he went on his way, not another deer seen until late sat. night and it was a tiny doe all by herself. going out more hope weather changes for the better.

5 antlerless Sunday night from a spot that usually produces large numbers. 4 fawns and one doe. Might have something to do with the females running off the young right now?????
I had a pair of fawns in my yard eating acorns for 2 hours saturday afternoon. No momma in sight.

I did not hunt....I just locked in permission for some areas that I will not even hunt this year due to being tagged out. You've got to keep you name and face fresh after all. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Shot 2 saturday morning. Doe and one of her fawns. Hoping the 2nd fawn was a little buck because I ran out of arrows and doe tags. Was only out 1 hour and didn't hunt the rest of the weekend.
Friend of mines wife shot a nice buck Sunday evening with a muzzleloader. Probably 110". I haven't seen antlers other than on here or the drive to the timber.
