Weird kill

In the strange category. One guy in our group shot what he thought was a large doe, this is first season shotgun. When I rolled her over to gut her she had buck equipment. Nuts were vey small. Where antlers should have been, you could feel bumps under the hide, but the area was completely haired over like he had never grown antlers in his life. No sign of injury or stress. Just the very small testicles. By body size, at least a 2 1/2 yr. old.

I once shot a velvet "buck" during early muzzy that had no package. I'm calling mine more manly that your guy's. At least mine had a rack. :D

Could it be he snuck in on a hot doe while bucks were fighting over her and the bucks sat back to watch a little girl on girl action and before they knew it he had her bred? Pretty tricky if you ask me. Sounds like something Bonker would have done in his chasing days. Oh NO, I just put a pic in my head that will be hard to forget.

You're welcome.

Don't you have somebody, er,uh, I mean sumthin to do? You're an old (relatively) dairy farmer, isn't it true that as soon as you get that high producin cow bought that it dries up in a day or two?

There called button bucks:thrwrck:!!

Nope, no button buck. Way too big bodied. And even button bucks' pedicles aren't haired over like this one was.

I dunno, you only got like 166 posts on here. I'm not sure you know what you're talkin about.

Who needs a stanchion? A good dariy farmer just goes out in the pasture and yells "STUMP". That way your not standing in the gutter.

Ok, it's a really BIG button buck. lol

If your wife gave birth to a 12lbs baby with twig and berries between it legs. What would you name it?

What your friend shot was a large button buck. Sometimes the "buttons" don't come through the first year. The small testicles are because that's how they are on button bucks. If you are used to seeing the size of the nuts on a mature buck, I'm sure they looked tiny in comparison.
