I have been watching about 34 crows circling and diving in a really thick draw behind my house. We have some company so when I get the kids down for naps I make tracks towards this ditch hoping to find Mr Big urban buck trashed by a car only to find a freaking doe frozen in place, though she didn't appear to have any wounds.

Then I heard Thomas's stomach growl and I backed slowly away.
