I read that some western Iowa counties are having feral hog troubles. Anybody here hunt land where they are at? I'm game for a trip to eastern Iowa to shoot a pig or two to help you guys out.

I think you mean western Iowa counties, east of you, though. There isn't really a huntable population around the eastern part of the state to my knowledge.

There down here by me Shovelbuck. Most of them are 30 West of here but we are getting some sightings within 12-15 miles of here.

The Dnr has a hog trap set up on our neighbors farm in Louisa county. Last year they supposedly shot a few in the bottom that borders ours and last summer there was supposed to be 3 that would come out of our farm every night into the bean field. I lived too far away to check it out during the summer but man it would be a blast to take them out.

I could send some of my teenage mutant ninja coons up there to help get rid of them.Notice the one in the back ground.He's getting ready to pounce in for the double team.It will all be over but the crying.

maybe they are a nusance, but i guess i secretly wish there was a small huntable population some where near

If you can get me a little smaller place to look then Louisa county, I'd love to put a couple packages of pork in the freezer. What do think THA4, need a pack of spare ribs?

we have a russian bore ranch in northern michigan, i went out side to grab another barley treat during seasonto be locked by a 700 ound pig. apparently they had some get lose and because they are not a native animal here they are fair game.

p.s. the freezer is full of pork
