Similar to the time that laid my 870 on top of my truck topper and drove off!!!! Luckily I could hear the barrel taping on the roof of my truck and had enough sense to stop to investigate!!!

you name it and at some point i've lost it in the field
. have a buddy who one time saw a buck quite a way off and laid his bow down by his truck. he was so excited at the size of the buck, after looking through his binoculars, that he backed his truck up over, you guessed it.
fortunately he owns a bow shop and had new limbs in two days later -- never saw the buck again...
