What call?

I'm in the market for a new call and was looking at the foxpro slate I can't use a mouth call never used a glass one either didn't know if glass was good or not

Lights out anodized aluminum with a Purple Heart striker is my go to call and striker.

My impression is; aluminum reaches way out, slate tends to besofter & mellow for close in work & glass is in the middle. I may be all wet but that's what they sound like when I scratch on them.. I'm gonna see how hard I can make a turkey laugh with my wingbone call this year.
