When life throws you a lemon?
Usually a self pity party comes first. Then, it we'll, it happens, suck it up.
Next is, OK, what am I gonna do. Next is, OK, I'm gonna tackle this " problem ".

Once we start tackleing the " problem " , we often times find out it's not so bad.

Last Friday evening, we had 100+ winds come through. So much of the habitat landscape I've spent 15 years creating has been severely altered.
There is one clover field tucked in super tight to the best bedding cover on my ground. I was devastating mentally seeing 2 huge Burr oaks went down and landed dead square in the middle.

This evening, I went back to start carving them up and cleaning up the plot. A (light bulb) came on as I started the project and my WHOLE thought process changed. " I'm gonna make this work" in a way I never forseen.

My pity party went to " Holy Crap", God and I just created the very best natural deer funnel spot imaginable.

2 Major licking branches were left, the limbs I stacked in front of an enclosed blind to help hide acsess n entry. They blocked 1 trail the deer often use but I don't like that trail.
Overall, I just went from pity to giddy.

I just made the best tasting Lemonade out of a rotten Lemon.
