Used to call on Gade Ins in Griswold, not sure if that's close to where you're talking, but you'd probably have to drive to Omaha if that's the case. Quite a few opportunities, Large Army Corps of Engineers office there.
If your wanting to live in the south western part of Iowa look for a job in Omaha, Nebraska and live in Iowa. A lot of people do it and works out great for them. Check out careerlink.com and there are a lot of employers who on there that are looking for employees. You might be able to find a job in Council Bluffs but you'll have a better chance in Omaha. Hope this helps. I live in Omaha grew up just north of Omaha on the Iowa side, just recently moved to Omaha had to keep the wife happy.
