What is it?

I was having trouble with tresspassers stealing from my land; so i put a cam down in my campground bottoms next to the creek. I got alot of pics of does with fawns eating leaves from my apple trees; when this pic showed up.

I think it is part of a Van Gogh Painting.

Looks like a deer's right eye in the bottom middle and the remainder is the top of his head.

I agree with it looks like an eye in the bottom middle. You can almost make out the lashes. I think its a deer trying to see what is inside that camera!

Looks like the thieves are cleaning off the lens with a rag. They wouldn't want to steal a camera with a dirty lens would they?

I have plenty of really closeup pics of deer, but nothing looks even close to this. Too long of hair around the eye; if that is what it is. Black tipped hair on top of head; if that is indeed a head. The cam was 4 feet off the ground, and the picture was in June.
