What is it?

I found this in southern Iowa while turkey hunting this spring. I don't want to sound too stupid but what is it? It was on a farm that doesn't have hogs so I'm not sure if it was a pig or a wild hog?

Probably a pig's head, it could have been drug in from a nearby farm or something too. Anyone I have ever known that raises hogs has a "place" somewhere on their farm where you want to watch your step, if you know what I mean.

I believe that is a boar's skull. I found one a couple of years ago in my timber. It still had the tusks. It also had a .17 or .22 hole in it's forehead. I think it was from a neighbors, and was drug over to my side. Skull only. I'll find pics of it and post them. I'm at work now.

Here are a couple of the photos of the skull we found. Not quite the same, but pretty close. Mine has a more pronounced forehead.
