Greetings, Fellow, and Lady, Hunters. I read the propoganda put out by the "Humane"? Society. They use the term, Killing for FUN, alot. It got me to thinking. I was listening to a friend hunter tell of her hunt, and shot, and kill. I listened to the excitement in her voice, and thought of my own excitement when I talk about a hunt or a kill. Why do we get PLEASURE, from this activity. Of coarse the ususal answers come to mind. Satifaction of being part of nature, harvesting food, by our hands,outsmarting savy creatures, but there is sometning more, that Anti's don't understand. I notice it watching a wolf pack on the hunt, or lions. They are pumped up and seem to enjoy hunting too. There is part of me that looks at what I am doing as distasteful. I don't enjoy taking a life, a beautiful one at that.But there is a drive in me to take life. I believe it is a spiritual thing with me. I believe the CREATOR, put the drive in man. Our bodies need meat protein to be healthy.The Native Americans killed much to survive, yet they respected, even almost worshiped nature, as a gift from the Creator. Sorry to go on like this, just thinking about what makes me do what I do. Something the Anti's don't understand. They see us all as "KILLERS", We are not all killers, although I have met a few. The majority of us are "HUNTERS", and we should be proud of it!
