What the H-E-double hockey sticks!?!

A friend from work just told me a story today that really rubs me wrong. His neighbor shot a nice buck a few days ago and made a good hit. But, after checking it out, he could see where the buck bedded down for a time and then got up again so he left him for the night. He went back out the next morning and it turned out he only went about another 100 yds and died in some fairly short scrubby grass. As he approached, he noticed the buck was missing something...HIS RACK! Somebody passing by on a gravel road had spotted the buck laying there and set out on private property with saw in hand to cut it off. I can't imagine how sick I'd be. Unfreakinbelievable.

That's a good question, not sure.

Oh god....I'd be sick. That sucks bad.

Why can't anyone ever catch someone doing something like that?

I had the same thing happen in 2001 except the whole head was gone - the owners of the neighboring timber did not like me tracking the buck through their timber at night and told me to leave...I came back the next day when they were at work, picked up the trail and found the buck with no head. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif Got the CO involved, no head to be found anywhere, nothing they could do.
