Well said...not a fan of either myself. Always easy to be a critic from the outside. I'd say this though...16 trillion of debt and growing is hard to argue. Will Romney be the answer...hmmm doubt it.

Predictions- Romney wins, but is unlikely to have majority in doesn't get any bills anything "done" due to lack of majority in house/senate. OR Obama wins, economy and debt still suck, Republicans take control in 2016 and it hits the fan.

My original plan was to bait all republicans to this thread and then mock them with what I perceived was loss for Romney.
Shame on me because the only evidence I had that he performed sub par was the lack of props to his performance I.e. no one was talking about it.
But then I thought about it and besides the mild cardio work out/elevated heart rate from reading others posts, this stuff is useless outside of its entertainment value.
So to answer your claim w6, I can certainly handle every thing i've bitten off, I just decided I don't like the taste
 
I didnt realize there are so many rich Iowans that can afford to vote for mitt. I wish i was in that upper class so i dont have to pay my fair share of taxes too.
Also does mitt always fight like a five year old when hes wrong? Even if the mediator tells him he is wrong. Man he sound good when he looses a debate.

I don't buy into the fact that we need to tax the rich more. Mitt paid 2.something million in taxes last year and people complain it was "only" a 14% tax rate. Really? The dude pays millions and you argue the rate? How much did you pay last year?

So if you think his type needs to pay more, how about a flat tax rate? Oh, I hear you scream now about how those that don't make much will be sent to the poor house.

What if we look at a income bell curve across American citizens? Those that are in the median pay the most amount of taxes? We vote as a majority, how about we have the majority bear the tax burden? Share the cost of government across more people lessens the cost on each, economy of scale.

My thought is that if the majority of the populous bears the burden of taxes, only then will we have true tax/program reform. When the majority of people actually have to fund all these programs, then they will start to critically evaluate them.

By the people, for the people. ;)

It still makes no sense to me that there are so many facts and figures to argue that Obama is not qualified for the job and he has driven our economy in the hole, but yet people still listen to the liberals pull at their emotions to gain votes. In 2008 Obama played the "hope" emotion, and now we have change where we once had dollars.

papajess, we are not in the top 3%. Its not that we can "Afford" to vote for Romney, its that we cant afford to vote for Obama. Biden admitted that they will have to raise taxes, so who is going to cost me more money??? Secondly, before you start throwing out who was right and wrong in that debate, you might want to do your own research on the stats. Look at who was allowed more time to talk, who was cut off less times, and how many times the moderator let Obama continue past his allowed time. Before using her call on right or wrong you might want to look into things yourself. Just another rant with no factual information or proof behind it, ie trying to play on emotions.....
 
When choosing between two turds, I am not going to pick the one up that has been sitting around stinking for the last 4 years, I am going to go with the fresh one and hope it turns out for the best. Why not try something different? Its not like it could be any worse than what we are dealing with now. There is only so much that one president can do while in office, so as a voter you need to disregard all of the political b.s. attacks that you see on T.V. and go with your gut instinct.

I was just thinking the same thing. I dont know about the rest of you whiners but I have got a raise every year since Obama has been in office. Havent noticed much of a change since he took office yet Im well below wealthy. Mitt is an arrogant A** and only wants to help out the wealthy pricks that can afford to vote for him. Obama has a good plan and rome wasnt built in a day its going to take more than 4 years to fix Bushs screw up. But a side of me wants Mitt to get elected so when he doesnt fix anything in the first year I can bash him like all you Repubs did Obama!

Anyone who thinks Mitt is only in it for the wealthy is crazy. Why would he want to see the middle class fail? Everyone thinks all republicans are rich. Not true they just have a brain.

Probably both sides will settle down after the election anyways & we probably both agree it's the most important election in a long long time that will impact every person on here.

Don't know how this guy deserves 4 more years?!?! Few things that disgust me, obvious- 6 Trillion in new debt (when he said he'd cut in half), said he'd get unemployment in 5's, said he secure border (know anyone from southern AZ or S TX?), shoved Obamacare down our throats, etc, etc. Far cry from "HOPE & CHANGE, RA RA RA, yes we can, yes we can"

The guy wouldn't have even got an interview for President of my company but somehow he gets job of leading the country?!?!? And you think he's done a great job & deserves re-election?!?!? Any CEO with this performance would have been fired long ago. Time for a person who's ran something, run companies, states, economies & can fix this mess. 4 years to the new guy with real experience!

Biden giving, what, $200 to charity in a year?!?!? Obama's consistently giving around 1% to charity before the start of running for President. Both of which are millionaires & even years ago had very hefty incomes. Frauds. Generous ONLY with OTHER PEOPLE'S $!!!

Dude nothing you've ever said has made any sense. All you ever say is that Romney is only appealing to the wealthy and the wealthy are A holes...you must be Union. A couple of my buddies growing up had dads who were Union and they would just rip on people who were successful like it was sinful.

As stated several times earlier in this discussion why not vote for a man with a proven record of success in the private and public sectors?
