What to plant?

The trail (1/2 mile) coming into my cabin is just a dirt trail.
Gets rutted up bad when real wet.
What can I put down that will grow even when driven on.
Something that will hopefully get a good sod base.
Thanks for any advice.

Maybe a good waterway mix from the local farm store - should have some orchard and brome grass as well as timothy and a few others to make a good solid base of grasses.

Any food? Clover mix could be added to a grass mix like above….. Fescue, brome & perennial rye, etc. Bingo!

I'll check with a local seed place and see what they have.
I drive on it usually 1 day a week so needs to be something that can tolerate that.

Fescue and rye will be your hardiest to traffic grasses
