What Turkey Season are you hunting?

What about archery season?

That would be ALL of them together.

I am bow hunting, my 9 year old son is hunting 2nd season and my 11 year old daughter is hunting 4th season.

Should be a fun Spring!

4th season baby! Runnin' & gunnin', spottin' & stalking', sneakin' & peakin' - for me that's more fun than being cooped up in a blind. That's just me though. Kudos to the archery guys who do it.

Archery, I do miss the freedom of runnin and gunnin but it's pretty cool taking them with a bow. I may switch back to gun next season just to have a little change.

If you bowhunt the entire season, can you also get a gun tag to boot. (if it is in the thread above already, i apologize)

Shredder - In Iowa you could get 2 combo tags and use either your gun or bow, but you may not buy an archery only tag and then try to buy a shotgun tag.

Lord knows how I love to belly crawl in wet grass with a gun! I can't count the number of hunts that I didn't even call but had a set of hooks over my shoulder on the way home.

Bow hunting just took it to a new level of challenge, but I can't say I don't miss pulling the trigger on the 870 Mag.

This year should hold every combination of excitement for me.....my 9 and 11 year old have their first tags!

I will be much more proud posting a picture of one or both of them, that you can count on!!!
