When to lime?

I'll get you up to speed....planning on planting brassicas later this fall, but wondered if I should spread my Pelletized lime now or wait until later? Does it have to be disked in if I do it now?

Do it now and work it in. Lime takes time to break down and do its job.

About a month ago would have been best, but not too late now to help yourself...but it might be pretty soggy to get a big lime truck out on a field now.
