When to start spraying?

When can I start spraying plots to kill all the weeds and get ready for planting? I want to get going on it ASAP but don’t want to waste money and do it to early. Thank you

I’d say that it depends on what and when you intend to plant.

I sprayed this past weekend for corn plots.

You don't want weeds, or last years winter rye to get too tall or they are harder to kill or you will need to mow first, so I sprayed 3 plots last weekend.
