When you shoot?

It was a question for everyone, JRudd, I wasn't singling you out.

I purposefully practice both sitting and standing.

I also practice shooting after getting off a 30 minute exercise bike workout. Never know when you might have to huff it to get into position and your heart will be racing.

I only practice standing, but seem to always shoot my deer while sitting, doesn't seem like the point of impact is much different. I've had great results this way but would rather be standing as it feels more natural, shootin while sitting always feels awkward but has worked for me so far.

I've never shot a deer sitting down, and I've never shot a turkey standing up.
But I do practice quite a bit in the winter and early spring from a blind chair. After turkey season is over I do most of my practice standing and from an elevated platform

Usually standing, but sometimes sitting. Depends on the stand, shooting lanes, how much time I have and how much movement I can get away with. When on the ground (i.e. blind), I like to kneel down on one or both knees while waiting, then just turn to take the shot. Obviously unless you have a tall blind you can't stand up.

I to have never shot a deer sitting. I do however draw my bow sitting one time in the stand right after I get all setup, just so that in my head I know I can do it if I have to.
Only ever drew on a deer one time because there was a branch in the way and I still couldn't get the shot off. That darn branch cost me a 170 typical, needless to say the branch is GONE!

I have 2 different stands and for me it is different in each. The larger one I have always stood up in. The smaller of the two I had never actually shot from until this year. I had imagined I would stand up but I ended up shooting a deer while sitting and really liked it.
