Where do think the arrow passed through?

Last night I shot my first doe(ever) at about 25 yards. That was awesome... but she entered some nearby cover and about 45 minutes later I saw a deer come back out of the area she had entered and continued down the trail she had been on to start with. At first I thought I had missed since the arrow lodged in a tree just behind her but after waiting about an hour I got down and saw that the arrow had been a complete pass through. From the tree stand I couldn't tell where the arrow had entered her. The arrow had a few tiny slices of meat on the broadhead but there was only small traces of blood on the arrow including the vanes. It looked as if it had been shot through a piece of meat. I got some friends and we looked around for a blood trail of any kind for about an hour but found none. From the looks of where the arrow was buried in the tree I believe I hit her somewhere in the lower front half. Do you have any ideas where I may have hit her?

Hard to say, but it sounds like a hit in the brisket. There is usually some fat on the arrow as well. Dont ask why I know...

i hate to say this but shes still alive... if you hit her that far forward you only hit meat... i did that acouple years ago and saw the deer the very next weekend and he was fine best part about it my dad shot him the next day....
