Where to purchase a Muzzleloader?

That is where i purchased my first Knight muzzleloader about 8yrs ago. I think i will give him a call tomm. You live in Boone then HardcoreHunter??
 
He has moved since you were last there probably. His shop is one block west of Story and 11th. Call and make sure he is there before driving.
 
If you know which gun you want, I would look online. I bought mine online about a year ago. Because it is a blackpowder, it doesn't have the same restrictions as the other guns. They ship it right to you. You can usually find some great prices on them too. I bought a TC omega for around $250($285 or so with shipping). The same gun in stores was around $320.
 
Bought my T/C Omego two years ago from sight sponser Boyd Mathis ( Buck Hollow Sports outside of Pella). Oh, and the scope and rings, and bases, and Trophy Rock.....I don't make it there often, but I never leave without something!
 
Got my TC Omega at Sportsman's Warehouse in Ankeny, but the guy I dealt with (and seemed to really know what he was talking about) is gone. I got the thumb hole stock and just love it.
