I'm shocked that know one is using Reconxy cameras. They are great you can set it to take a picture every second. I have got 15,000 pictures on one set of batteries. It is a IR camera with out the red light.
I can't justify leaving $500-$600 in the woods every time I put it out. I would rather cover three different areas with a $200 camera. Just my thoughts. The battery life for the Scout Guard is fantastic as well. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
Do you have to have either the mounting bracket or the lock box to mount it to the tree or can it still be mounted without either? The only negative review I've found of it was with one guy who had one get wet inside...you had any problems like that?
I'm placing my order tomorrow...they start with a 20% off discount tomorrow on accessories that decreases every day. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
I have a stealth cam the picture quality is great and the battery life is good, but the trigger speed is slow. So I would get a scoutguard 550 from what I am reading, thats what I am going to get
