Who’s hiring Superintendents in Des Moines?

This guy was a super in Erie, Pa at Millcreek Twp
school district before Des Moines. I lived there and a friend worked for him. He left under numerous sexual misconduct complaints, questionable leadership philosophy, etc. He’s a tool bag. His improprieties and background are being ignored. Des Moines claims they did a background. lol.

I read that Millcreek school district settled three cases on him costing the district over $400K.

At least he fit the ethnic box that the Des Moines Public School board was looking for!!!

Now for some entertainment.

Trumps ICE officials are out of control!
Look what they did to this poor innocent man! But wait... he has a deportation order dated back to 2024..... what that means that's Bide** mandate.....?????
SHhhhhhhhhhhh that's not the narrative we are screaming .

I really wish Charlie Kirk was still with us. He would have an absolute hay day with this!
He probably had the best stance on race in modern politics. He was characterized as a racist because he preached non discriminating concepts. MERRIT!!!! NOT PIGMENT OF THE SKIN!!!!!

Im so thankful for TRUMP and this DEI BS is at bay....
for now....

I am pretty sure, that it is becoming more and more evident, that the presidential election of 2008 ushered in a bunch of foreigners into our government and society. People in positions of power to undermine and try to change our country to something our founding fathers feared. "Educating" our children with ideals and values that are incompatible with freedom.

When he was hired in 2023 he had a valid visa which expired in 2024. His “weapons” charge related to a hunting violation.

Not defending the DMPS whatsoever. IMO, the biggest issue here is the weapon in a school vehicle. And I feel that way regardless of his immigration status.

Also, before I get jumped for being a liberal…I’m a registered independent, who generally leans conservative. But absolutely hates both our political parties in iowa.

How about his record in Erie, PA?? Sexual misconduct amongst other issues. Coincidence?? Don’t think so. His visa expired and was expired for 1 1/2 years. When arrested he was in possession of a hand gun which is illegal for non citizens. There’s nothing to defend regardless of party affiliation.

Why did we even need to hire him?? Why does our heavily taxpayer subsidized education system not create competent people worthy of this position? Do we honestly have no citizens capable of this job that we had to hire an immigrant? There are honestly no capable Iowans or at least Americans that were better qualified?? These are the questions we need to be asking.

The biggest issues here are this is a perfect example of how being racist actually hurts everyone involved.

Hiring because one is of a certain rase is racist.

How many candidates for this job did not have have a criminal background?

How many candidates for this job did not have a weapons charge?

How many candidates for this job did not have any sexual harassment case involvement?

How many candidates for this job had us birth certificates?

There are far greater issues than him having a gun . He should have never been in the position to start. It is 100% our fault! This is what happens when you live in a fairy tail land and ignore reality.

This guy knew he was illegal. He knew his day was coming. He had a gun/cash/large knife..... Wake Up!!!!! He was ready to run!!

Anybody know what a bug out bag is?.....

I found this when I was searching for what "gun charge" Ian Roberts had.

Roberts said that he is a longtime licensed hunter and gun owner and had been hunting for a buck on that day without success. He said that he was walking back to his vehicle when he was stopped by a state game warden inquiring about the activities of others at a nearby gun range.

During the conversation, Roberts said, he put his hunting rifle on the back seat of his vehicle and left the door open so that the gun was in plain view. Roberts said that he is aware that loaded firearms are not permitted in vehicles and planned to unload it before leaving but put the rifle in the vehicle "to ensure the warden... did not feel unsafe or threatened in any way" while they talked.

"After answering the officer's questions as requested, to my disbelief, I was then cited for having a loaded weapon in my vehicle," Roberts said.

There are always two sides to the story but if this is actually what happened and he was cited for that, that is BS in my opinion. The officer easily could have said, "Hey, I see you put your gun in the vehicle and I appreciate you setting that there while we talked but before you go, I'm going to watch you unload it so you can drive home legally."

I would imagine that "gun charge" was considered when the judge was reviewing his case on whether he could stay or not.

In the United States, an unauthorized immigrant, often referred to as an "illegal alien" in legal texts, is federally prohibited from possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. This is a felony offense under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(5)

Was he authorized at that time or unauthorized? I guess I took it as he was authorized until 2024 but if he was unauthorized at that time then a $100 citation for a loaded hunting rifle was the least of his worries.
